HISTORY

It all began one day in 1996, when Klemmy was watching tiny waves breaking along a shorebreak.
He was thinking the samething that all surfers are thinking when they watch these types of waves in the shorebreak,"those
tiny waves are perfect, if only I could shrink down and surf them." From this thought stemmed the first Mini Surfers.

The first Mini Surfers were made from real surfboard blanks and fiberglass, with toy dolls on top like 'Barbie' and 'He-man'. After a time of playing with
these in the shorebreaks near his home Klemmy approached a friend of his and they discussed
the idea with some people in the surfing industry who agreed that it was in fact a grand idea. With the backing of these people it was time to design the board.

Klemmy had years of experience shaping surfboards in Melbourne and after several designs he was able to craft a board that could actually surf in small waves. Mini Surfers were put into full production to distribute around the world! Mini Surfers have become a global success and are sold in Europe, North America, Asia, and Australia.
